Limpet Couplers are a type of pressed steel scaffold board retaining clamp, which are different from drop forged type board retaining couplers.
In comparison to forged BRC couplers, limpet clamp is lighter in weight, easier to handle and erect, less expensive, and has the same retaining function and strength.
Pressed steel limpet scaffolding couplerss are used to secure scaffolding boards to the transom beneath the boards. They are secured from the top, are domed (so they are not a tripping hazard), and have no protruding bolts on the underside. They are a great alternative to traditional scaffolding board retaining couplers.
