Scaffolding Base Jacks Free Rotating Nut

 

 
  • With over 15 years of experience in manufacturing, we know what is important in every stage of production for scaffolding base jacks.
  • The compapibility between the nut and the threaded rod or threaded tube decides if the nut can move up and down smoothly.
  • Electric galvanized surface finish doesn't influence much on the running of the nut, while hot dip galvanized surface finish might do. So a special process will be needed when making hot dip galvanized screw jacks to keep the extra zinc away.
  • A stopper is always needed on the screw jack. A punching cut or a welding dot will work. Sometimes our clients might require not full threaded jacks, just like what you see in the left video.

A     Scaffolding jacks ,  also known as screw jacks or base jacks, is an adjustable device used to provide a stable foundation for scaffolding structures. It allows for height adjustment to ensure a level and secure scaffolding setup, especially on uneven surfaces.
 
 
Q   What is the loading capacity of your scaffolding jacks?
A     The load capacity of scaffolding screw jacks varies depending on the height, tube detail and nut material. 
 
 
Q   What is the zinc thickness of your scaffold jacks?
A    For hot dip galvanized scaffolding jacks, zinc thickness is more than 40 micros and normally in the range of 280-700 g/sqm. Electro galvanized screw jacks have less zinc than HDG jacks, but it is the most commonly used surface finish for screw jacks.
 
 
Q   What are the materials of your scaffold jacks?
A     Our scaffold jacks are mostly Q235 materials.
 
 
Q   What is the pitch of your screw jacks?
A     Pitch is the distance between a screw jack's threads. Square threaded scaffold jacks: 6.35 mm (4 pitches per inch). Round threaded scaffold jacks: 8 mm.
 
 
Q   Can I put my marking on the scaffolding jacks?
A     Yes, we can emboss your marking or logo on the screw jack nuts or base plates, and it's free.
